I just wanted to point out to those of you leaving less than stellar reviews for reasons being, “it left a gross feeling“, or “my makeup residue was still there“... you need to read not only what the product actually is, but also the instructions. This isn’t rocket science, girls. It’s freaking Clinique. They’re pretty much solid on everything they have banged out. This is a rinse off cleansing mousse that is to be followed by their three-step skin products. Guess what that first step is, homegirls?! You guessed it....cleanse. This is meant to aid in the cleansing of your face, boos. Like a prewash at a car wash and you’re the lambo. Now get to scrubbin.

« A bit heavy »

I like this foam, it works well and take all the make up off, you need to use a very small amount, the only thing I don’t like a bout it is the packaging, it’s hard to get the rest of the foam out when it gets low resulting in waste, it became so hard that it was best getting a new one. Clinique please change that tube

I really like this product. It is not drying and you only need a tiny bit to foam up enough for your whole face & neck area.I tried a sample and was sold! I think it is much less drying than triple milled soap or any other. And it removes all my makeup after I wash. There is nothing left on the towel! My face looks fresher and just better.

« Pure & Simple Cleansing »

I’m not very picky about my facial cleansers. I prefer that they be basic...no moisturizers, toners, etc. and that they clean deeply. I often buy my cleansers from the drug-store. Since I have really liked the other Clinique products that I’ve recently tried, I decided to try this cleanser. WOW!!! I’m now a fan! No more drug-store cleansers for me. This actually is MUCH cheaper in the long run. I’m so happy with it that I didn’t even wait to get the email to rate it.* A VERY SMALL amount is all that’s needed...smaller than a pea-sized amount* No perfumes, dyes, toners, moisturizers, etc.....just an excellent cleanser* Don’t be fooled by the word “mousse“ in the description. You don’t get a tube full of air. The consistency is dense/creamy and you get a lot of product for your money* Very effective if you like a “squeeky“ clean feel like I do

« My HG Cleanser »

I have used this Cleanser for 10+ years and it’s a favorite for both my hubby and I. It’s foamy and a tiny amount goes a long way. It does an excellent job at removing all traces of makeup and makes your face feels very clean. I tend to love the “squeaky clean“ feeling after I wash my face and most of “gentle“ cleanser often left me feeling that I didn’t clean my face good enough. This Cleanser offers the CLEAN feel without drying my skin.My hubby has oily skin and this is the only face cleanser that got his approval. We go thru a bottle every 2-3 months. Sometimes I get tired of using the same product and go try something new. But I always ALWAYS come back to this one.Bottom line, this is a great all purpose face cleanser. If you like the “squeaky clean“ feeling, you’d LOVE this product!

it foams really nicely, but it dried out my skin SO MUCH

I purchased this cleanser for travel as the tube is easier than a pump container. However, this cleanser strips my skin of all oil and leaves my face tight and uncomfortable. I don’t know why I bother with Clinique skin care as I’ve never tried anything that I’ve liked. Their makeup is quite good though.

« Good makeup remover »

I’ve used this product before with eh results, but overall it is a very effective makeup remover for a full-face remover. It is a gentle product, as all Clinique products are, and is not overly drying. Note, though, this is not a facial cleanser intended to clean your skin - only remove makeup. If you’re looking for clear pores, you need to do their 3-step skincare AFTER using the rinse-off cleanser.

« My SK-II cleanser dupe! »

Love this! My fave cleanser is SK-II cream cleanser but can’t afford $75 all the time for it, especially after all the other $$$ I spend on skincare and makeup products. If it weren’t for the smell I’d barely be able to tell the difference. This has no smell, comes out thick and creamy, and lathers well without feeling harsh. Doesn’t leave my skin tight but my skin is totally clean and I do wear foundation and sunscreen (Tatcha and Armani). And no reaction from my skin. I do double cleanse first with Sulwhasoo oil. Other products I use: Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream, SK-II toner and essence.

« Great for my super oily skin »

As someone with extremely oily skin, it’s difficult to find a cleanser that either doesn’t make it worse, or actually dries my skin out. This stuff does neither. My skin feels really soft and squeaky clean after I use it, but never dry. I typically use it with my Mia brush, but even without it feels just as good. You really need VERY little product to get results; it’s super foamy and rich. One bottle lasts me 3 months.

It’s my new essential. You only need a teeny amount and it makes you feel all shiny and new!

best stuff for removing anything off you face and its great for cleaning my brushes too!!

« Never without it »

I am never without this product. It’s the only cleanser I’ll use because of it’s foaming action and soothing qualities. My face feels clean and relaxed after using Clinique.

« Favourite makeup remover! »

This is my go-to for removing a full face of makeup every time. It has such a good lather and I usually do a double cleanse and then my regular cleanser. I don’t use this as an every day facial cleanser but I love it for days when I wear a lot of foundation and eye makeup. I hope they keep making this forever!

I have aging skin and have wanted to steer away from soap and this mousse is FANTASTIC! I can see a difference with my skin in just two days. I love it.
