I received the New Clinique Take The Day Off Charcoal Cleansing Balm complimentary from BzzAgent and Clinique in exchange for my honest review. This Charcoal Cleansing Balm is amazing!! I absolutely love it! It starts as a Balm but as soon as you start to massage it onto skin it turns into a silky oil! It removed all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara! It also removed any dirt, debris and excess oil from my skin! The Charcoal Cleansing Balm did not dry out my skin, it did the opposite, my skin felt really clean and silky soft! It does not leave any residue feeling after rinsing it off. I love that this product is fragrance free, Dermatologist Tested and safe for all skin types, including Sensitive Skin and Acne-Prone skin! Charcoal products are amazing for your skin, Charcoal draws out excess oil and other impurities from your pores...my pores feel and look clean and clear! I can’t recommend this product enough!! It’s amazing!! If you haven’t tried it, you need to!Thank you BzzAgent and Clinique!

This is one of my favorite cleansing balms. It takes my makeup off quickly and is gentle on my skin.

Sadly this cleansing balm didn’t remove all of my makeup, especially stubborn eye makeup. However, my skin was left feeling soft and not stripped. Overall it’s a good product but there are better cleansing balms out there.

It didn’t work for me. It was a mission trying to take it off. It just won’t come off easily and then the charcoal makes me look insane. I don’t understand the positive reviews. I feel like they’re fake 😭A huge flop for me.

I really love the Clinique charcoal cleansing balm. It removed all of my makeup and when I rinsed it off my skin was not oily. I did follow up with my facial cleanser as I would normally do after removing my makeup. The cleansing balm left my face feeling hydrated and soft. Definitely will be added to my routine.

It looks like fun, but it really works! I have oily skin with acne. You can’t do without an ordinary washing gel, and this product perfectly washes off cosmetics. Used the white version for more than two years, now tried something new. I will take it in the future. Favorite product.

« Beautiful first cleanse »

I don’t even wear make up but I do wear sunscreen. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks as a first cleanser and my skin has become more smooth. I love this and will continue to have this in my skin care routine

I loved the original Take the Day Off cleansing balm, and this one is just as spectacular. This line of makeup removers is the only one that doesn’t leave a cloudy film in my eyes after taking off mascara and eyeliner. I think the charcoal is also helping to clear out my pores overtime. « Works well but is it magical? »

This balm works just as well as it’s non-charcoal version. It’s hydrating while it helps clean off all types of make up including long wear lipstick, waterproof mascara, and glitter eyeshadow. But does the charcoal really make a difference. Not that I could tell but I also don’t have super oily or ance prone skin.

This is a great cleansing balm that leaves your face nice and clean. It’s hard out of the container but warms up in your fingers as you apply it. It would be great if it came with a spoon on top attached to swipe some out. It leaves my sensitive skin soft and clean afterwards.

I really enjoyed the silky texture that really just melts away makeup and dirt. I used this as a pre-cleanser before my Philosophy cleanser to get rid of some heavy holiday party makeup! I enjoyed the neutral charcoal smell and that it kept my winter skin hydrated.

« Great First Step In A Double Cleanse »

I enjoyed using this cleanser as the first step in my double cleansing routine. Removed most of my makeup (even stubborn mascara). Did not leave an oily residue. Super hydrating.

I used this before washing my face as night as a double cleanse. I think that it worked really well- I like the texture of it, and it was very easy to wash off (I didn’t feel any residue left over). I just feel like my skin didn’t like it. I didn’t break out or get get anything but I felt like my skin had a weird texture after using this for a week. I think I’ll keep using this just on nights that I’m taking off makeup, as that’s not too often and this does work well!

I was skeptical at first because it’s labeled for oily to normal skin. I have normal to dry skin with eczema on my face. When I first used it my first thoughts were that it’s a silky texture. After my first use I was pleasantly surprised to see that my skin didn’t feel dryer or tight. It removed my makeup very very well. I will say that you don’t use this by itself as a cleanser. This is a first step cleanse followed by cleansing. Think of it as your makeup wipe. I personally don’t use makeup wipes for about 3 years. I would just double cleanse when I wore makeup. Something that I also really enjoy, is that it’s fragrance free.

« WORTH THE MONEY »

I received this product free from Influenster and Clinique, in exchange for my honest review. I am a big fan of cleansing balms and was so excited when I found out I would be receiving this and it did not disappoint. It is amazing to take off makeup and I love the size that it comes in, it will last you a long time! I was a little skeptical at first with there being charcoal in it but I have noticed that my skin looks brighter after using! Would recommend for anyone looking for a good cleansing balm that will take your makeup off while making your skin feel great!
