« PATIENCE IS KEY »

This face wash was recommended by my esthetician claiming that it goes into deeper layers of your skin. Blah blah blah. Didn’t believe it because it’s just a face wash, right? Bought it once my other wash ran out because I wanted to tell her I tried it... THREE months later, I look in the mirror, and I couldn’t believe it. My skin isn’t textured.... My little forehead bumps that I always just FaceTune we’re just gone! I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t notice the daily changes, but after consistent use, my skin is brand new. I didn’t know this was even possible by a change of one product alone. I have been using it for over 6 months and have found a new love for skincare because I didn’t even know my skin could look like it does today! Please please buy and use patiently.

« No More Adult Acne! »

I love thus cleanser. I use it daily and it’s the only thing that has helped with my adult acne. Kinda mad the company discontinued their medibac line but this is the same thing. Definitely doesn’t have the same effect but it is still really good. I always recommend dermalogica cleansers to people as they have been the only brand to help with my acne! After using this I only have my occasional breakout from hormones. As you see in the picture I have no makeup on except mascara and it cleared my skin. I have combination sensitive skin and this helped a ton!

I think that this is a truly wonderful product. It was recommended to me to help with hormonal breakouts and it absolutely helped out. I don’t have acne but I do get breakouts around my period and this is the best face wash that I’ve used. It also doesn’t dry my skin out. I have re-purchesed and will continue to do so.

This product is a nice formulation for a cleanser but unfortunately my skin did not enjoy it. After a few uses I woke up with a massive lump on my chin that went away after a few days of not using this product anymore. Beware!!!!

« Gets rid of stubborn acne!!!! »

Wow, I don’t know how to begin with this product. I’ve had stubborn acne on my forehead for probably about 2-3 years and tired several cleansers and nothing seemed to clear it up. This cleanser has totally cleared it up and I’m so happy!!! Highy reccomend!!! :)

« Maybe not meant for me but still works great »

This has helped my acne more than any other cleanser I’ve used hands down. The only issue I have is that I really have to lather on the moisturizer because it can be pretty drying. It’s not meant for dry skin so I don’t fault it for that but I wish there wash an alternative with more moisturizing agents that still treated my acne. It’s a great consistency with minimal scent and overall I’ll continue to buy it (my current bottle is almost empty so I’ve used it for a while now).

I love this cleanser! I’ve been struggling with adult acne and dry/sensitive skin and this cleanser is perfect for that! My skin has cleared up as well as the dry patches. My skin feels and looks great, I highly recommend this product!

« only for acneic skin!! »

I hated this cleanser. Might’ve been my mistake buying it, since I don’t have acne prone skin. Was hoping this would help with clogged pores & hormonal breakouts since that’s what it claims to do- but just did the opposite. This is definitely way too strong for “normal” skin. I also think salicylic acid gives me a bad reaction. Id only recommend this for someone who is heavier on the acneic side. I gave this a couple weeks, let my skin purge, but still wasn’t clearing anything!

My favorite cleanser! Keeps my skin clear and smooth - I’ve tried them all but always come back to this one.

« Good face wash »

Really I would rate this product a 4.5. The gel consistency is great, and it’s not drying. Not sure if I can say it helps my acne, as I use a lot of other products, but I’m happy enough with it to keep using it. My only complaint is the packaging. If you’re one to flip the bottle upside down towards the end of it’s life, the gel will leak and get everywhere. It wasn’t very travel friendly for this reason too.

« Great for my oily skin and so refreshing! »

I was searching for a new face wash because the one I was using for awhile seemed to not work as well as it used to. I have super oily skin, and suffer from occasional breakouts. I ended up with this one and I absolutely love it! It keeps my skin pretty oil free and doesn’t dry my skin out or leave it looking dehydrated or flaky. I use it usually twice daily (morning and night) and I’ve already noticed that my breaks outs are less and less, and most importantly for me, my skin doesn’t look as oily throughout the day. It’s also a good quantity for the money. I use it with the Foreo Luna mini face wash tool and it’s so refreshing and really cleans out my pores, I even have less blackheads that I thought never went away! If I could rate this higher I would, I’m so happy it wasn’t a long search for a new face cleanser for my oily skin!!

« HIGHLY SUGGESTED! »

I have been using Dermalogica since 2015, this face wash is if you are looking for a deep clean & okay with a bit of purge because this face wash is going to do exactly what it’s meant to! This is not an everyday face wash! After working with an aesthetician about my cystic acne, she recommended Dermalogica & I wish I found my aesthetician soon because she’s helped so much. She highly suggested to use this wash at least every 2-3 days because of how strong it it. I no longer have cystic acne but occasional hormonal pimples!!

I’ve had acne my entire adult life. I STILL have blackheads & breakouts & I’m 60. In many of the reviews for this product, the reviewers talk about how it removes makeup. The instructions say to use AFTER your face is clean. I can already see an improvement after 1 use. It fizzes up a little, but feels kind of rewarding. I will continue to use, & hope it will continue dissolving my blackheads. I have been to dermatologists many times, but this is the first product that seems to live up to its promises.

Waste of money. I could’ve used that money for food. Smh

I love this product! I originally started using the Dermalogica medibac cleanser a few years ago after an aesthetician recommended it to me. When Dermalogica switched over to the active clearing line, so did I! This cleanser is great because it goes deep into the pores and pushes out the dirt and oil without stripping the skin. It foams up well without any harsh surfactants, which makes it easy to see where you’ve cleansed. The smell is very refreshing and there are no artificial fragrances. Using this in conjunction with the Dermalogica microfoliant, I have far fewer breakouts and my skin feels more balanced. I definitely recommend you give it a try!
