I started using Dermalogica about 2 years ago and I am so THRILLED that Sephora finally carries it! This Ultracalming line is specifically made for highly sensitive and sensitized skin and is full of the most gentle ingredients. It does such an amazing job at removing dirt and impurities without stripping my skin or drying it out, and it’s pH-balancing. It also smells super relaxing.However, Dermalogica self proclaims they’re the first to create the double cleanse method, which is why they have a “Pre-cleanse“ system in oil or balm form as your step one to remove makeup. I loveeeeee the Pre Cleanse Balm and have lash extensions and have never had an issue with using that or it irritating my lashes. If you have super sensitive skin (like I do, and I have eczema around my face) I highly recommend purchasing this cleanser! It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight, or dry or irritate my skin further. It also does wonders for those pesky little bumps on my complexion.

Great for sensitive skin, I have been using this cleanser for 5 years and very happy Sephora started carrying this line. I have rosacea, large pores and combination skin , this cleanser is a saver and can also be used as a make up remover

Used this product for 6 years and nothing calms my skin, redness, reduces acne etc like this wash. Used to have cystic acne and somehow THIS cleared it. It doesn’t remove makeup very well so I use a makeup wipe before if I have any on. Holy grail product.

I was recommended this product at a local spa following a facial and being told that the cause of my breakouts were from using to harsh of products on my sensitive skin! I have been using this for about 2 years and what a world of difference! My skin is now clear and not left red/burning or tight! Like others have said, it doesn’t remove makeup well, which is why I use the precleanse balm first (also amazing!)!

Yessss so glad Sephora finally carries Dermalogica! I have super sensitive and reactive skin, and I will never be without this cleanser. Always go back to it. Soothing, hydrating, never irritating, but actually cleans your skin. Can be used on wet or dry skin, rinsed off or removed with a cloth, this is the best.

This cleanser does exactly what it claims. I’ve been dealing with a bad bout of hormonal postpartum acne that was made worse by a bunch of harsh cleansers and treatments. I went for a facial and the aesthetician recommended using this cleanser and leaving it on for a few minutes. It soothes my sensitized areas when they become itchy and sore. If I had permanently sensitive, dry skin, this would be my go-to cleanser.

Has really helped calm down my rosacea. You definitely get a lot of product for the price too.

LOVE this line of calming products!! I’ve always struggled with rosacea but I had rhinoplasty about 5 years ago and ever since, my nose is so red ALL the time!!! This is the first system to take the redness away. I have an oily t-zone and super dry cheeks and this stuff balances everything out nicely. So happy I have it a try.

This is simply the best face wash I’ve ever used. It effectively removes dirt and grime (and zinc oxide sunscreen!) without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It is perfect for sensitive skin. If I had to compare this product to other brands, I would say it is less harsh than Fresh’s Soy Face Cleanser. It is also similar to Cetaphil’s Hydrating Cleanser, albeit slightly less moisturizing but also less likely to cause breakouts (Cetaphil’s cleanser always leaves me with whiteheads, and I think it’s because the cleanser leaves a film on my skin).Anyway, this is a great product overall - I highly recommend it. I’m happy to see that it has become increasingly popular with the Sephora crowd, because realistically, everyone can benefit from a gentle face wash. I think many of us have overdone it with the harsh cleansers, exfoliants, etc. and need to be kinder to our skin.

This cleanser is amazing!! It calms my rosacea like no other cleanser I’ve tried. It doesn’t break out my combination dry skin and girl I break out like no other. I would recommend this to any one with combo dry, normal, or dry skin.

Holy grail of non foaming cleansers! Removes makeup as well but may need to cleanse 2x. I get contact dermatitis frequently and this cleanser stops it in its tracks ! Greatly reduces inflammation

I was using a much harsher cleanser that caused my skin to have an allergic reaction and feel over-processed. I frantically searched for a new cleanser that I could use to have a calming effect, and this did the trick!! This cleanser is gentle on your face and neck. It does require a minimum of two washes to get your face clean when wearing makeup. However, that is not an issue for me. I always follow up with a toner to get any dirt or oil left behind after cleansing. I believe it is also important to follow up with a moisturizer and SPF for optimal results. I will continue using this product.

I have oily skin and like this as a morning cleanser, definitely wouldn’t use it at the end of the day to get off makeup/end of day grime/etc. It’s a really gentle cleanser and great for sensitive skin. I know I’ll really enjoy this in the colder months coming up when my skin gets dehydrated. Again, only as a morning cleanser, but even just using something gentle and hydrating in the morning will help a lot!

Best face wash for rosacea. I’ve tried so many face washes and all of them irritated my skin except this one. I have very bad rosacea around my mouth but after using this and the matching ultracalming concentrate my skin already looks so much better. Highly recommend to anyone for sensitive skin!!
