« Formula change »
I’ve been using this cleanser for a very long time. I’ve bought countless bottles and I’ve even introduced my friends to it and they love it. I loved how you just needed a small amount and it would remove all my makeup. Compared to ther brands it’s inexpensive and it would last me a very long time.About a week ago I went to sephora to buy a new bottle, since I had run out. I noticed the price went up from $18.00 to $20.00. I know prices go up and I’ll rather they raise the price than cut down on the quality. To be honest I would have even paid more, if they would have kept the same quality. Unfortunately, they didn’t. They raised the price and lowered the quality.The first time I used the “new bottle“ I noticed the product oozed out. The old formula was more dense. I thought maybe it was because it was hot and I had carried it outside the whole day. The next few days I realized that they liquified the formula. Like if they had watered it down. It also didn’t take off my makeup like before. Now I find myself washing my face 2-3 times and I still have to use makeup removed for my eye area.

Best cleanser for acne, EVER. After one bottle my results were unreal. Highly recommend for people with sensitive, acne-prone skin. The best part is that it isn’t drying like most acne cleansers are. And the price is also amazing for the results it gives. I have spent hundreds on product trying to get the results that this face wash gives.

This cleanser saved my skin!!! I have hyper-sensitive, acne-prone, eczema-prone, combination fair skin. I am allergic to everything, and I have tried every cleanser under the sun. You name it, I’ve tried it: everything from drug store to $$$$ brands. I was at a point where the only thing I could use on my face was Dove soap (but this still caused acne) and Cetaphil cleanser (never really got my face clean/ never removed all my makeup), and my skin was just a MESS... my dermatologists didn’t know what to do for me anymore, as they’d tried everything, too.But, this cleanser turned everything around!! This cleanser removes every trace of make-up (even eye makeup) while still being extremely gentle. I have been using this for a week with the Daily Face Cream, and my skin is like brand new skin. This leaves my skin feeling clean and balanced; it is not drying, and my face doesn’t feel “tight.“ What’s more, my existing acne is clearing up, and I have no new-breakouts. I have been struggling for so many years with skin problems, and I am so glad that I learned about this product. I am one of those people that went back to Sephora in tears to thank the salesperson for showing me this cleanser. I hope they never stop making it!!

As a health care worker during COVID19 this face wash is a life saver. I have dry skin anyways but wearing masks, shields, goggles my skin is raw and peeling around my eyes and mouth. This face wash is gentle enough that I can still wash my face with it. It’s runny so don’t squeeze hard or too much will come out. My skin doesn’t feel tight, burn, itch. I had to switch from my usual to this and I’ll be using it long after all this ends.

I really wanted to like this. I have very dry skin this winter and was looking for a gentle cleanser. My skin felt so tight after washing. In the morning my skin was literally peeling with dry patches. I have never had such a bad reaction to a skin care product. I returned the next day. I wish I would have gotten a sample first.

I struggled with hormonal acne for the longest time that left VERY pigmented scarring. I bought the aglow set hoping to improve radiance, which it definitely did, but my complexion also cleared up from the remaining acne I had. I credit that to this cleanser! It leaves my skin super soft and clean without that taut feeling that every other cleanser seems to give me. It’s gentle on the skin while still being efficient. It doesn’t completely remove eye makeup, but honestly if a cleanser can, it’s probably not great for your skin. It does what it claims when it says it’s balancing, as I’ve noticed my MAJORLY oily skin is noticeably less oily. Not to mention FAB is cruelty free so I give it an A++!

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Rosacea about a year ago and had been using Cetaphil or Basis as a cleanser for my sensitive skin. While both worked fairly well, I tried FAB Face Cleanser when I received it as a free sample. I was a little scared to try it, afraid that it would irritate my skin ... but it did the exact opposite. My skin has actually started to look brighter and I have had fewer breakouts since I began using it about a month ago. LOVE this product. I just wish I could find it in the store instead of having to order it online.

I’ve been dying to find a cleanser that removes dirt and makeup but doesn’t leave my face too-squeaky clean feeling and dried out and this is it! It foams up great with my clarisonic brush and I know it’s working because the white bristles rinse clean, where they are still a tan color from my foundation after rinsing off other cleansers.I have oily, yet flaky dry skin and this tames them both and is gentle enough to use twice a day. I am in love, to say the least!

Looks like the Sephora website (and even the FAB website...) hasn’t updated this yet, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up. I recently got a sample of this face wash directly from First Aid Beauty and noticed it had been reformulated. Notably it said that it now contains sandalwood and lavender extract. This is disappointing as both of those can be triggering for sensitive skin. Over the years this brand has been watering down their formulas, and now they are making it less sensitive skin friendly as well, with several products. The oatmeal mask now has these extra extracts as well. Thanks for alienating us from the one brand we could use in the entire Sephora store, FAB. :(
« Broke out worse than before »
Was recommended this as a cleanser for my acne prone sensitive skin as a daily cleanser. Rather than helping with my acne as the salesperson told me it would, this cleanser instead caused my face to break out far worse than it did before I began using it. Was not happy at all so I returned it to store.
« Most Amazing Face Wash! »
While in Sephora to return the Clinique line of skin care that had burned my face and caused my skin to breakout due to the sulfate content, I realized I would a new face wash. I was about to start using Retin-A again and knew I wanted just a basic wash that didn’t have any special “acne fighting“ ingredients. I also wanted it to remove makeup, because I honestly don’t understand why on earth anyone would want to use a makeup remover and then have to use a cleanser.I really only felt the Sephora skin care consultant was partially listening and interested in what I had to say and this bothered me and after cruising around the store looking at Boscia and Ren I was finally able to make it clear that I didn’t want the ingredients in either of those.She finally lead me over to FAB and I decided that this seemed to be the most basic and didn’t contain a million plant/herb oils either. And most importantly, no sulfates!I can’t tell you how much I love this wash and how thankful I am that she finally lead me over to it. After one day of use my skin had cleared up from what the Clinique line had done. I went back the next day for the Daily Facial Lotion and then I went back the day after that for the Ultra Repair Lotion (Clinique actually burned my skin).This wash makes my skin amazingly soft and doesn’t leave it the least bit dried out feeling. Usually I can’t wait more than a minute to put a lotion on my face after washing, but I don’t even have that problem with this wash.I do find that it doesn’t lather as well if I am using it on my face with makeup versus just using it on my makeup-less face. I find this pretty annoying, but will take pretty annoying for the trade-off of finally having a face wash that I LOVE!I hope this stuff is never reformulated and stays on the market forever. It is a true miracle.

firstly, it smells like an irish soap bar. secondly, after washing my face, my dry skin felt super tight (it felt exactly like when you use a bar of soap to wash ur face). to top it all off, i had a terrible reaction and broke out like crazy. needless to say, this is by far the worst cleanser ive ever used and its a disgrace that they market it for sensitive skin

I have purchased the medium size three times now, so I decided to go ahead and get the jumbo. This face wash is super gentle but gets the job done. I always remove my makeup before hand with an oil, or makeup wipe but this gets the very last bit off. Its gentle around my eyes for that stubborn liner/mascara. (with your eyes closed, obviously) it lathers quite nicely. Doesnt overdry. Hands down one of my favorites, It doesnt exfoliate but if you have your weekly exfoliating wash youll be set!

Going through “the change“ early my skin has decided to dry up PLUS I now have allergies to everything!!! Had to stop using my high dollar face cream I had used for years and after trying several others I got a sample of this from my Sephora Rep. JACKPOT! I’m an Ag Teacher so days in the dirt with make up and sweat are routine! This cleanser takes all that off- cleans AND doesn’t break me out in an allergic reaction!!! My skin is so soft and smooth! Now buying all FAB products! Thanks FAB & thanks Sephora!
« A cult staple! »
I have been shopping around forever for a new cleanser that won’t irritate my sensitive, yet very dry skin. I have taken home tons of samples looking for something to wow me that will start the process of hydrating my dry skin (or at least one that won’t dry it out more), won’t irritate it, and efficiently cleanse my skin when used with my clarisonic. The texture and consistency is something I haven’t found in other products. Its creamy, but develops into a foam once you start to lather. Its super gentle (great for sensitive skin!) while still doing a great job of cleansing my skin of left over makeup, dirt, oil and free radicals. An amazing staple that will be in my skin care routine for years to come!
