I love this cleanser, I was skeptical at first because I have been using the Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser for two years now and that’s oil-based. I have acne-prone skin but it’s not super oily so I was nervous it would dry out my skin. I haven’t been wearing much makeup during the past year with COVID so the TH cleanser was great, however, I found that since I’m wearing makeup daily now it doesn’t clean my skin well enough so I gave this a try. I have also been using the G.Tox toner, and since that works so well for me I thought I’d give this product a try as it also has the same active ingredients (Malachite and Fruit Acid). I absolutely love this, I won’t be going back to my TH cleanser, it cleared up the small bumps that I have due to clogged pores from wearing makeup and does not dry out my skin despite it being a foaming cleanser. I highly recommend this for people with normal/combo/oily skin, it might be too drying for dry skin types, but a little goes a long way, so I think it should be fine if you stick to one pump. I will be repurchasing this once I run out, I do see it lasting me for quite a while though. Also, love the clip it comes with, making travel easy, seems to be sturdy so I won’t have to worry about leaks in my bag. Love the quality and detail of Goop products.

I have large pores, texture and I used to have acne as a teen so I have some slight scaring/dark spots from that on my cheeks. I like cleansers that are made with fruit acids or non traditional ingredients such as honey etc. because I feel as though they do work to keep acne calm as well as clean pores, but this one did not. I have a great skin care routine and my skin is the best it’s ever looked so it has been a few years since I have had breakouts let alone the large ones and this broke me out with those large pimples. The formula of this is more watery than it is gel like, it does lather but it doesn’t cleanse very well. It makes my face feel gritty and I can feel the texture on my face when I first rub it in because I finish my face with a foreo tool. I feel like I have to wash my face like 3 times for my face to get and feel clean. It doesn’t leave your face moisturized like some cleansers that do not really strip your face, it just doesn’t clean well. It also has a medicine type smell that is a bit overwhelming. For the price I paid for this, it was a big miss, I do not like it.

I’m 57, my daughter bought this for me for Mother’s Day because it was on my wish list to try. I have tried just about EVERY cleanser out there. This is by far, one of THE best I have ever used. Just a dime size drop creates plenty of foam. After I wash it off with a wet cloth, my skin is clean. No left over residue, no dryness, just clean soft skin. I don’t even need to double cleans. Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but when you consider the small amount you use, it’s worth the money. My skin is clearing and looking amazing!!!

I have been suffering from peri-menopausal breakouts (thanks hormones) - basically my face, neck and chest gets covered in tiny angry whiteheads. I thought I’d give this a go because of the fruit acids, and it has helped tremendously. My skin is so much clearer. It is slightly drying for my combo skin, so I usually use it just once a day and make sure to moisturize well after. A little goes a long way and I can see this lasting me 6 months. Will definitely repurchase.

My favorite cleanser. Smell is light and nice. Definitely detox’s my skin. I use it every night. I wish it wasn’t so expensive, but a little goes a long way. I can see it lasting a while.

Drying, made my combo skin even oilier. Really not worth it. There are some many better gentle cleansers out there. This one felt weirdly stripping to the point where it reminded me of the garbage stuff I used to wash my face with in highschool

Ok sooooo. 1. Doesn’t have a screetchy feeling once you wash it off your face.. so smooth2. One teeeeeny squirt and it foams so much so that means this is going to last me soooo long, which is so worth the price! 3. I love the malachite ingredient and it all smells pretty good to me. I’m just really excited it’s like a perfect cleanser and gonna last me forever(:

« Great but Hard to Justify the Price »

This is a great product in that it has a mild, pleasant scent, makes a wonderful frothy foam, and I do find that it cleanses deeply without stripping my skin (my skin type is already dry). However, I use it the least often because it is so expensive, and wanted the product to last (bought it during a sale). So it’s a little hard to tell how effective it is when I’m pretty consistent with all the steps of my skincare routine, and I only use this for washing my face. I reserve it now for washing my face after sweaty workouts, and use another slightly cheaper but equally effective cleanser (Youth To The People) for my regular-wash-off-the-day/second cleanse. Long story short, if you can afford it—enjoy! But there are other great cleansers out there with better price value
