« Not into it »

This cleanser is just “fine” to me. You need a very small amount and it will turn into a really lovely foam, my favorite type of cleanser, but let’s get to the things I don’t like quite as much. It is fragranced, not overly so, but more than I prefer. It burns my eyes a bit! I think my least favorite thing though how it feels when it’s rinsed. It leaves a bit of a filmy feeling? It doesn’t leave you stripped but kind of like you washed with a bar of soap feeling. I actually don’t see this working for dry skin as I didn’t find it moisturizing. I’ll end up finishing it, but I wouldn’t purchase it again.

great scent, very elegant and classy, which is already better than most amino-based cleanser since they tend to not invest in scent. Only need a little to get a lot of foam, about doubled of average amino-based cleanser. I only use it in the morning and it last for 8 months. Overall, it suits its price. If you want the best experience, this is the one.

I think dry skin types would like her best. On my combo/oily skin this wasn’t my favorite, unfortunately. The cleanser is pretty thick and takes a bit of time to work in, but once you do, she has a nice creamy texture. Less is more with this one!The fragrance doesn’t bother me much and I’d rather have it in a wash off product than other skincare. I’m going through a season of breakouts at the moment and though I don’t think this is making it worse, I don’t think this is particularly helping either.All in all it’s not bad by any means but for the price I have other options that I like better. Was still fun to try!

Okay…. How is this not advertised literally everywhere. I’m in love. So luxurious, so soft and really cleans the face leaving it looking like you just got a professional facial. The Equilibrium line is nothing short of perfect in every way. This is everything you need in a cleanser and more. My skin has never been more even, hydrated, smoothed, glowing, and CLEAN. I love using this every morning and evening. Thank you Hourglass, you knocked this one out of the park

« Luxurious for Dry Skin »

I have very dry skin and finding a moisturizer that works for me can be difficult. I want my skin to feel clean, it I don’t want to strip my skin of what little moisture it still has. This has been the perfect thing! This cream cleanser makes my skin feel clean. My makeup comes off, any grime from the day is gone. But my skin doesn’t feel tight or uncomfortable. The biggest downside is, of course, the pricetag. It’s (a lot) more expensive than I’d usually spend for a cleanser, but it’s nice to finally have something that works for me! It feels very luxurious, but you’re going to pay for that luxury.

Honestly, this is the most amazing cleanser I have ever used. The texture and experience is very luxurious and this calmed my dry skin so much. While a little goes a long way because of the creamy, lathering texture, the price is so high. It’s hard for me to justify spending this much on something you rinse off so quickly. If you don’t mind the price then I highly recommend if you are in need of a cleanser that does some amazing work on dry skin.

Sadly, I’m not a fan of this. I’ll start this off with saying I have combo skin. I saw it was a cream cleanser so I thought it would be perfect for me in the morning. It’s more like one of those foaming cleansers. You know the ones that feel almost soapy and foam right up. On the bright side because of this a little goes A LONG way but that’s the only positive. It had that same soapy smell all foaming cream cleansers do that I’m not a fan of. I also got a little bit in my eye on accident and it stung. When I got out of the shower my face was a /little tight feeling but it wasn’t too much to be alarming. Overall I just don’t think this is the cleanser for me.

« Not for dry sensitive skin »

I got this product bc of all the great reviews and also bc it said it’s a hydrating product, I have dry, oily(more so on the dry side) and sensitive skin. And I do not get the hype!? I felt like this cleanser was very stripping my face felt extremely dry and stripped after using it. Finally my red inflamed dry areas on my face were calming down but after I used this, my skin got red and inflamed again (around my mouth and under my nose is always VERY dry and red). It smelt fine but even the smell felt stripping like a strong soap smell. Just makes the skin feel SUPER clean but in a stripping way. I would say maybe… if you have oily skin go for it. Do not recommend this to anyone with dry skin

Love love love this cleanser so much!! I’m so picky with cleansers because I have dry skin. Lots of cleansers are usually too drying or strip too much natural oils off, but this cleanser is great! Gently removes all makeup and impurities and leaves the skin feeling refreshed! I used as a second cleanser in my double cleansing routine.

This cream cleanser from hourglass is definitely a bit pricey but feels luxurious! It’s perfect for my dry skin as it didn’t leave my skin feeling stripped - my face felt super smooth and clean. This has a bit of a scent but nothing too overpowering.

Love love love this product, makes me glow and feels luxurious. I was skeptic about the price but I use less than a dime size and it foams up and I wash my face neck and chest. Well worth a product to purchase

« Frothy cream cleanser »

I have been using Hourglass equilibrium rebalancing cream cleanser in exchange for my honest opinion. this cream cleanser comes in a White squeeze bottle that sits with the spout down which I really like because it helps you use all of the product. The cream cleanser has a tick consistency and becomes really frothy when you apply it on your fave with water. I like that it helps cleanse your face from diet and impurities and remove most of your make up. My face feels cleansed after use but it’s a little pricier than I’d like.

When I first opened this, I thought this was the standard cleanser that you can find across many different brands — opaque white with a pearl-y sheen. I was worried because those cleansers typically dry my skin out, but this was a different experience. It creates a rich lather that cleans the skin without stripping. Huge bonus is that the component is white so it looks great in my bathroom! I’m already looking forward to using this more and integrating it into my routine!

« A nice and effective cleanser »

It’s nice but not everything. I’m not a huge fan of the smell of this product and it’s a little difficult to get out of the tube. Those negatives aside, it is a really nice face wash. It’s a thick cream that transforms into a luxurious froth on your skin. I think it will be great for the colder months as it’s non drying. It’s good, but I don’t think I would desire to purchase when I run out.
