Gentle Brightening Gel Cleanser with Mandelic Acid

« Ingredients Beware »

I was so excited to use this cleanser because of the minimal ingredients listed on Sephora. BEWARE! I immediately noticed a scent when I opened the bottle, which struck me as odd. I look at the box and not only does it have fragrant ingredients (not listed on Sephora’s website) but a significantly longer ingredient list. I will probably have to return this without trying it because my skin is hypersensitive to any fragrance, “natural“ or not. This should be updated on Sephora’s website so people know what they’re actually getting before they purchase. I’ll include a photo of the real ingredients for spread awareness.

Skip this one babes, the actual ingredient list is different from what it says on the Sephora website & from experience using this it doesn’t feels like it cleans my skin well while still drying me out somehow

Incredible. I use to not get excited for cleansers - they’re on your skin for so little time that most active ingredients are washed away before they get a chance to do anything. But of all the cleanser I’ve tried, this is my favorite! It’s incredibly gentle, and helps with congested pores without damaging your skin barrier. I use this twice, once to remove sunscreen and once again to remove any buildup, and it never dries my skin. The product also lasts a surprisingly long time, because you really only need a dime sized amount for your entire face. I’m not as confident that it works to even skin tone, but it might have some lightening effects with long term use. I would treat it more as a skin smoothing and pore reducing cleanser. Obviously try to avoid your eyes with any AHA cleanser so you don’t irritate them. I’ve also tried:• Youth to the People Super-food Cleanser: Drying, mediocre, over-hyped, includes way too many marketing gimmicks in the ingredient list that don’t actually do anything.• Korres Yoghurt Cleanser: Nice, but formulated more for oily skin types as it is a foaming cleanser. I tolerated it well for a few weeks but slowly my skin became dry.•Tatcha The Rice Wash: Very luxurious and elegant, almost like an oil cleanser. Gentle on my skin and cleans very well. This is a HG of mine, second only to this Hyper! cleanser.•many others that i’m probably forgetting because they weren’t special

I’m extremely picky when it comes to cleansers since I have extremely dry skin but am acne prone. I’ve been using this for the last 3 weeks and my skin has never been more clear. A little goes a long way since it foams up so a dime sized amount should do the job. My face doesn’t feel tight after and i’ve started to use it on my back/shoulders where I break out too. I’d love to see a body cleanser from this line! I’ll continue to recommend for anyone with acne prone skin or anyone who wants to fade post acne scars!

I was very excited to try this cleanser, it’s my first time trying anything from this brand. First off, it has a very light fresh and clean scent, I love that! This is a gel consistency and when rubbing in circular motions it will foam lightly. I cleanse for 60 seconds and wash off. This leaves my skin feeling less congested and overall clean. I always tone after cleansing and my cotton swab always comes up clean meaning the cleanser removed everything! I am a fan!

This face wash is doing just what it’s supposed to do, it has brightened and faded the dark spots on my face. I’ve been using it every morning for the last 2 months, the gel consistency took a bit of getting used to but now I just add the tiniest bit of water to get it lathered then get my Foreo to do the work. I have very sensitive, dry skin and I’m so so happy that this has worked for me.

One of my favorite things about this product is the graphic packaging. I I love having an aesthetic home, and this adds to it. However, I have dry skin, and this product lose my skin even more dry. I would probably recommend this to people with oily skin, but not people with dry skin.

This cleanser surprised me, it’s definitely a favorite of mine now. This cleanser leaves my skin feelingBaby soft and I haven’t had any breakouts since using it. I can’t really see a difference in brightness but my skin looks really even. I love the citrus smell of this especially since it’s not an added scent/

I love everything about this cleanser … aroma ✔️ ingredients ✔️ performance your skin feels clean but not stripped. Just get it.

This dark spot treatment has a wonderful formula that feels lightweight on my skin and doesn’t pill. I’m able to layer it with other products and it absorbs well into my skin. I haven’t noticed major changes yet with dark spots but I have noticed my dark spots appearing a little lighter and more blended. I will continue using it To see the full effects. I also love how affordable it is!

LOVE this brand’s packaging and branding. I’ve been using this for about two weeks in hopes that it would help fade my dark marks left from acne. Unfortunately I haven’t noticed a change. Overall it’s a good cleanser that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, but the results have not been what I had hoped for.

« I like it a lot! It really works! »

This is a really fun cleanser! I like it a lot! It has a thick, jelly, sludgey texture that feels so cooling and fun and soft on the skin. I like that this cleanser is also hydrating and didn’t leave my skin feeling dry. This is the first product I’ve tried that is intended for reducing dark spots so I want really sure what to expect, but wow, this works fast! I felt like some of my sun spots were lightened after just one use!

I’m so excited that I got to try this cleanser. It foams so nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean without also feeling stripped. Super important for my dry skin. The texture is so gentle and works well with my current skin care routine so I wouldn’t be worried about pairing it with any other skin care products I have!
