« MIRACLE PRODUCT!!! »

It’s no exaggeration to call this a “life changing“ product. Just a cleanser alone would be the last thing I would think could make such a big difference, especially since even the manufacturer doesn’t claim it will. Lancome associates don’t seem to consider it that big a deal either, and will tell you it’s just a good, gentle product in their cleanser line-up that does a super job removing make-up. So take it from me.I tried small samples of Creme Radiance and and Pure Focus oil-free moisturizer, then RAN to buy full sizes of both. I had never checked out Lancome, preferring Clinique’s less expensive, extensive line of solutions for oily skin [this is before Sephora came along, where I honestly buy all my make-up and most skincare products now].Creme Radiance was the first Lancome product I ever tried. More significantly, it was the very first product of ANY kind I’ve ever used in my entire life that was not oil-free, and the very first cleanser EVER that did not contain either salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Not one derm I’ve been to has ever recommended a department store product. I was even a little hesitant to try it, but it is appropriate for my sensitive, combination skin. It doesn’t contain those chemicals and has natural botanicals, so it’s unlikely to irritate anybody’s skin.The difference in my skin was immediate and amazing. I began to get compliments right away about looking younger, even though I don’t look old the the first place. It improved pretty much everything, tone and texture, softened lines, and leaves my skin so clean it squeaks. Make-up removal is unbelievablely quick and thorough (no more roughing up my eyes with eye make-up remover on a cotton ball). I would buy it just as a make-up remover alone. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other Lancome products , and you need so little it’s actually hard to squeeze out just the teeny amount necessary. It’s therefore much more cost-effective than the drugstore products I’ve used. I keep Gel Radiance on hand for exfoliation, use Pure Radiance toner a couple of times a week, and Pure Radiance oil-free moisturizer daily. Very impressive and effective products.

I didn’t know I needed a Gentle cleanser until I needed one after my first chemical peel (retinol). This cleanser SMELLS SOOOOO D*MN GOOD!!!! Oh, and it also leaves my face feeling and smelling good. I will say that this isn’t my only step in my skin care regimen and if you wear make up it shouldn’t be your only step either.

A little about me: I have combination skin, oily t-zone and dry cheeks. Blemish prone skin. Tan very easily thanks to my olive skin.I got a sample of this and liked it so much I decided to buy the full size. I’ve used all different brands of cleansers from low end to very high end ($75 and up) but I like this particular one for several reasons.One, it’s hard to squeeze out. I’m sure your wondering why I appreciate the fact that it’s hard to get out and that’s because I always squeeze out more than the pea sized amount that I need and thereby waste a bunch of product. This dosent break your hand when you try to squeeze it out, rather it just comes out more slowly.Two, it’s very thick. I don’t need to use alot because it’s very concentrated meaning I get more bang for my buck. Some of the cleansers I have used have seemed watered down but not this baby. It spreads all over your face.Three, I like the fact that it clears off all my thick makeup. I like to pack on the pancake and usually have to use a bunch of toner and cotton pads to wipe off residual makeup left behind by my cleansers but this clears it all off. It does have a nice soft scent and I haven’t broken out since using this product.The only negative thing I have to say about this cleanser is that it can be slightly too good at cleaning, not only stripping away makeup but the oils in my skin as well. My face sometimes literally squeaks when I rub it much like when you wash dishes and the detergent makes the dishes squeaky clean. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but I would not recommend this for those with sensitive/dry skin.

« Great for Acne Prone Skin! »

This cleanser was the magic bullet for my acne prone skin.When I was a teenager I went on a course of Acutane for 6 months. All discussion of the flaws of Actutane aside, my skin looked amazing. I would get compliments from strangers. However, in my mid twenties my acne started coming back and thereafter I tried a lot of expensive national brand dermatologist cleaners, spot treatments, facials, masks, toners.This is cleanser was THE best cleanser for my acne. I’ve been using it for two months now and even during my period my breakouts are controlled.Thank goodness for Lancome! Honestly, I was put off by it being a major commercial brand and thought my solution would come from a Murad type product. Also, my boyfriend thinks it smells great.

A friend recommended this to me due to my sensitive and acne prone skin. Instantly after washing my face with this I felt my skin cleansed like never before. So thankful to Lancôme for creating this product, absolute miracle worker on my skin. I use it day and night, it washes every bit of face make up off without leaving my skin feeling dry, I don’t use it to remove the eye makeup though. I literally threw away all other face washes I had. The first tube I purchased lasted me all year, so at under 30 dollars and lasting a whole year, it’s a complete Steal! A little does go a long way, you only need to use a tiny amount and it lathers up into a luxurious foam. My acne is very minimal now, besides the few (1-3) pimples once in a while my skin is getting clearer. I use the PMD pro after this facewash once a week and my skin has never been better.

I have always been troubled with breakouts and skin problems. Well, no more. I got a sample of this and though I would give it a try. I was put off at first by the rose smell, but now that I have been using it for several months I have cleaner, clearer more touchable skin. I wish I would’ve found this years ago. It’s pricey but a little bit goes a long way. You need less than a dime size dollup as it foams up beautifully. Combined with visonnaire I now have more beautiful skin than I did when I was 21.

This product checked all the boxes for me. It lathers exceptionally well (coupled with a Clarisonic tool, it’s heaven) and smells fantastic, but not overpowering. A tiny, pearl-sized amount of this cleanser goes a long way, so it should last months even for twice daily use. It also leaves my skin feeling noticeably cleaner than other products I’ve tried, as some of my makeup has some serious staying power and not all cleansers cut through the film some makeup leaves behind even after washing - this stuff does. After a thorough scrub with this cleanser, my fingertips ’skip’ over the surface of my skin it’s so clean and smooth. Lastly, I have sensitive skin and have had no issues - only positive results - from daily use of this product. In short, I’m kinda in love with this!

« Excellent, goes a long way »

Fantastic, non-abrasive cleanser and a tiny dot goes so far! you need just smaller than a pea size and it will foam up to wash your face, neck and decolatage. Smells nice too.

While this product has a nice consistency it does, like mentioned by some, leave a weird residue on your face, like a mask or something. The skin feels super dry after using it and not even the best moisturiser is able to help. Plus it made my skin brake out every time i used it which NEVER EVER happened before. I got this product as a part of Lancome Genifique set and it does say “not for individual sale“ on it so maybe it is like that because it is kind of sample but i honestly doubt that

Just like the title says, this cleanser is the bomb! I have normal/combination skin where I can get dry but also am prone to clogged pores/whiteheads. I have been having issues with whiteheads and nothing was helping. I started using this about 3 weeks ago and my skin is now clear and brighter then ever! At first I didn’t like the way my skin felt after because it gave me that squeaky clean which I don’t like, I like it to feel smooth and hydrated when I get done cleaning my face. But the more I used this the smoother and softer my face felt. I Definitely recommend to any skin type other then someone who is super dry. This is will always have a place in my routine!

I’ve used this cleanser for almost a decade now. I love it. It served me well in my teen years through adulthood. Also, I’ve seen some comments saying it’s thick and goopy -- you need to use more water, friends!

This face wash gets your skin squeaky clean without over-drying. I feels and smells very luxurious. I love that you only have to use the smallest bit to get the full effect -- that makes it a great value.

This cleanser states it for use on Normal/Combination skin. I happen to have very dry skin, but since the product has received such rave reviews, I decided to give it a try. I like the texture and consistency of the product while I am cleansing my face. My skin feels clean afterward and product delivers as promised...doesn’t over dry my skin. The scent is beautiful and luxurious while cleansing but disappears after rinsing my face. I really like this product.
