« Game changer if you stick with it »

I am 33 years old and this is the first time in my life since before puberty, that my skin is totally clear, soft and flawless, thanks to the Ole Henrickson Balancing products. I use the entire system twice daily but only use a minimal amount of the moisturizer (about a pea size drop). I live in Arizona and this doesn’t dry my face out, keeps me oil free. I had combination skin but this stuff changed that for the first time ever. My oily tzone has vanished and I feel confident going out without makeup on. The toner has massively shrunk my pores with continued use. In addition to using this balancing line, I also switched to the IT cosmetics CC cream in lieu of using any foundation or makeup. I also use the orange Glamglow brightening mask once per week. Since the AZ summer, I have added a hyalauronic acid serum to my regimen after the toner and right before the moisturizer. This may help some of you who feel that the product is too drying. Just remember that none of these are instant miracle products for everyone but I’ve found what works for me. Also, drinking plenty of water, 8 glasses per day, seems to activate the hyalauronic acid moisturizing and plumping properties. For proper results, make sure you use this twice daily! Stick with it for at least three months before you give up. I wouldn’t have realized the power this has if I went by my first week to month results. You won’t be disappointed.

I have very oily skin- I wake up with oily skin, and despite washing my face with other products that claim to be “oil reducing“ or “oil- controlling“ my face is always shiny by the afternoon. The Find Your Balance cleanser is the first cleanser that actually works for me and controls my oiliness! I use it in the morning and have found my skin to be visibly more matte-looking throughout the day. Yay! It is in fact very strong- I only use the cleanser in the morning, because if I use it in the morning and nighttime it is too drying. (I use a different, more gentle cleanser at night). I would recommend this product if you have oily skin with pores that tend to clog. (However, I DO NOT recommend the toner and the day moisturizer that comes in the set- they both contain salicyclic acid which many acne-prone skin types are allergic too! Beware!)

« I wanted to love it! »

I wanted to love this! The scent is awesome and minty. I used this for a few days and I noticed my acne prone skin was starting to flare up. I think this would be really good if your skin doesn’t have the acne issues I have. But if you have acne prone breakout skin...this didn’t cut it for me. ☹️

Don’t get me wrong... this seems like a great product and was at first. But, I’ve been using it for a while and my skin isn’t getting any better. My skin has been the same maybe worse. The oily characteristic has been the same for me, I don’t see any difference. I loved this product the first two weeks but I just started breaking out again after. The sauna scrub from them is dope tho. Y’all should get that. Def worth ya mula

« oil control all day without feeling tight »

First off, the scent is amazing! It smells like eucalyptus and mint, which is super refreshing when I wash my face in the morning.It is great for combination skin. It definitely controls my oily spots, but compared to other oily-control cleansers, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. The oil-control effect lasts all day.

I received this in my Influenster VoxBox and it was such a refreshing cleanser to use after I removed my makeup with coconut oil. Even though it’s for oily skin I didn’t find it to dry me out, even on my driest part, my nose. The smell is so good!

« A Gift From God!!! »

I have combination skin, but it’s definitely way more oily than dry. I also have a lot of acne scars and I break out very easily. This product saved my skin alongside the hydrator moisturizer, my acne scars are fading and my breakouts are nearly gone, and the best part is that it doesn’t dry out my skin.

« Does nothing it says it will »

I have oily skin with some acne and lots of black heads. I have been searching high and low for products to help me combat this. I bought the cleanser, toner and hydrator, thinking that using the multiple products together would give me the best chance of a positive change in my skin. I am so disappointed! After three months of daily use, I have seen zero improvement and actually a worsening in my skin (far more acne than I had previously). My face never felt clean after using the cleanser. Absolutely does not “reduce oil and minimize the appearance of pores, and improve the wear of foundation.“ I would not recommend these products to anyone.

I use this cleanser with my Clarisonic and I absolutely love how it makes my skin feel. At first I was put off by the scent because it reminded me of foot creams (minty and eucalyptus) but now I don’t even notice it! It gets really sudsy, which I love, and after I rinse it off, my face feels smooth and cool. It’s so refreshing! I received this product free from Influenster to review!

I have a combination of oily and dry skin, but usually wake up a very shiny mess. A week before my monthly cycle, I usually break out here and there. I’ve only been using this product for a week in conjunction with the Balancing Force Oil Control Toner and the Three Little Wonders Set by OLEHENRIKSEN, but I have noticed a huge difference with my skin already! If I do have acne, it’s usually one and it disappears within a day or two. As of late, I’ve been waking up with moisturized skin and no shine! I can’t believe I haven’t tried these products sooner. I love the foamy milkiness of the cleanser. A little goes a long way! I have used so many other products that are cheaper and they usually make my acne flair up or dry out my skin way too much. This cleanser keeps your skin moisturized. I know you’re not supposed to touch your face, but I can’t help but obsess over how smooth it feels after using all these products for just a week! I normally don’t write reviews but felt compelled to because I know a lot of others out there will understand my plight and hopefully this will help them as well! I have been convinced and will forever be a customer. You definitely get what you pay for and more.

I didn’t need this product when I bought it, as I was using the other cleanser from Ole Henrickson (formerly African Red Tea Foaming cleanser), but I decided to give it a whirl. One would think that since I’m old, I would no longer need oil control products. Not so much. After washing the first morning, I noticed a difference to my skin by mid day. No shiny nose or forehead. In fact, since then I have eliminated the mattifying primer I required everyday. This is especially good for aging skin what is still not exactly normal but more combination. I like this a bunch.

This cleanser is my actual SHIZ I love this so much!!! It controls my oiliness, and makes my skin feel so fresh thanks to the scent and the little bubble things in it. Also, I do notice I don’t get pimples as much anymore. I HIGHLY recommend this for all you oily babes xx!!

« Refreshing »

Love the velvety texture of this cleanser on my skin! You only need a small (pea-sized) amount of product for it to lather up and clean your face. The smell of mint is very addicting. I could feel it actually stimulate my pores - my cheeks looked rosy pink and skin felt instantly smooth. My face felt revived afterward. Would recommend to anyone with oily or combination skin.

« Comedogenic ingredients, did nothing for oil/acne. »

This honestly did nothing to control my acne and honestly might have made it worse. I didn’t feel a change in my oil production either (even though I don’t gets super oily anyway). It also contains lauric acid which is HIGHLY comedogenic (pore clogging).

After using the cleanser, toner, and hydrator for three weeks, I have noticed a significant improvement with the overall texture and look of my skin. I typically suffer from fairly oily skin, however after using this cleanser, my face feels matte, yet hydrated, and invigorated by the refreshing scent.
