Why does this have sodium laureth sulfate? That’s a known acne-causing ingredient :(
« Broke me out »
I used this cleanser to help a few breakouts I was having. I purchased this to help ( I have dry acne prone skin ) and this broke me out. I had multiple new bumps just from adding this product and it dries skin out severely. I had dry patches on my cheek and nose from using this. Awful experience.
« RUN!!! »
Hated it my skin started became so red and patches started to peel off. My skin has never been so dry in my life please avoid
« great for acne prone sensitive skin »
If you notice your skin burning from exfoliating serums and toners, switch to this!! It only contains .5% salicylic acid so it’s safe to use daily and GENTLY treats clogged pores and acne. It doesn’t irritate my rosacea either. A complete win!
« helped get rid of hormonal acne »
I started using this cleanser along with the Paula’s choice BHA exfoliant and my skin has transformed within 1 week. I normally have acne prone skin and this cleared up my skin and hormonal chin breakouts. I love that this cleanser works and isn’t too costly. Don’t think twice...just buy it!!
« 10/10 »
This is the cleanser I’ve been looking for over a decade. My skin is combo and I’m very sensitive + acne prone. I feel like the small amount of SA in this is gentle enough to protect my skin barrier yet a good enough amount to combat everyday pollution. My skin has never looked better.
Doesn’t do anything for me in the way of removing makeup or “normalizing“ my pores... kind of actually forgot what purpose I bought it for after a couple weeks.
As someone with ulta sensitive dry skin and acne this is my holy grail. It doesn’t overly strip my skin, but still leaves it feeling clean and without residue.
This is the best cleanser there is. It has helped my adult acne so much. Did not leave my skin dry or dull. Paulas choice has changed my skin.
« so far, so good! »
I have combination skin with mild acne breakouts (usually around my period) and mild rosacea on my upper cheeks. I’ve been trying to work out my skincare routine, and I picked up this stuff along with the Paula’s Choice vitamin C serum. I really like this cleanser a lot. It can be drying because of the salicylic acid, so I use it only every couple days, alternating between this and a gentler cleanser on other days. I would say I use it 3 days out of the week during PMS and period time, and about 2 days out of the week during regular time. It helps prevent breakouts and it also help clear minor breakouts quickly. Pairing this with PC vitamin C serum and a good moisturizer is magic :)
« Incredible! »
I had been struggling with my skin for a while. It seemed like nothing I did was working. After stripping my skincare routine down to the bare necessities, my face looked just as red, blotchy and irritated as before. I was at my wits’ end. I wanted to cry. I gave this a try out of sheer desperation. The morning after my first use, I noticed immediately that my face had become less red, and 80% of my “acne” (closed comedones and red irritated blotchy skin) had subsided. Within a week my skin almost completely back to normal - almost better than before! I’m not sure what kind of witchcraft this product holds, but it worked when nothing else would and I am incredibly pleased.
I have dealt with acne since 13, I switched to this cleanser for my second cleanse when I was 25 and never looked back. It’s gentle and effective.
It’s a okay cleanser I guess Definitely overrated
Very nice gentle cleaner. I have been using a few weeks. No noticeable difference yet. If I do notice I’ll update. Can’t say I recommend yet since I don’t see a difference. $14 for a face cleaner is a little too high if it doesn’t do what it says it will do.
« Didnt work for me »
I have been using it for a month and my acne has not changed, I will stick with La Roche Posay :C
