« GAME CHANGER »
I used to use the YTTP cleanser and I used to be such a big fan of it. Recently I started noticing that as I am heading into my thirties my skin needs more attention and I feel like my skin kept getting more dryer and it felt more tight as I kept using the YTTP cleanser. So I did some research and noticed the peptide cream mentioned in Hyram YouTube channel. As I looked more into this brand I was quite impressed regarding the ingredients that was used and not just that it’s clean. So I came across this product and wanted to give it a try since it said oil based cleanser I was a little scared to try in the beginning because my face doesn’t really take new products very well but with this one it was worth it and the 1st day when I use this cleanser my skin felt so good in moisturised even after tapping it with towel just to dry it just felt Moisturising and not over drying. The cleanser itself doesn’t take off all of my make up but that’s usually normal since I do wear heavy makeup and I do need to usually preclearance before I head into a cleanser but this cleanser truly does remove any other access that I might have not taken off with my initial makeup remover. Truly thank you so much for creating this line because it has dramatically changed my skin and it feels good to know that my skin is not only doing good but for future I am taking care of it as this product is helping to nourish my skin and protect my natural barrier.
« Facial Eczema fix »
This product is a GAME changer for my eczema ! It’s a pain dealing with facial eczema because cleansing products end up drying my out almost ALWAYS. With this my skin feels soft
« NOT FOR MY SENSATIVE SKIN »
I have combination and very sensitive skin. I don’t know what it is with coconut oil but my skin doesn’t do well with it at all. I was very sad because this product is silky smooth and made my skin very soft but I ended up breaking out in really small bumps.
« Holy Grail »
This cleanser has absolutely saved my skin. I never thought I would find my holy grail product. I have suffered with painful acne on my chin for about a year and have tried so many different products. I have combo skin and was looking for something hydrating for my skin. This product makes my face feel so smooth and has practically cleared all my acne. It also started clearing my acne just a couple days after using it. I’ve been using it for about a month now and finally feel confident in my skin again!
« My skin loves it!!! »
I am not the one to write reviews at ALL, this is my first review every on a product! I went into the store to look for a cleansing for my face and one of the employees recommended me this product, I’m also not the one to listen on any of the products they recommend lol, I’m really big on reviews and research! I saw a lot of good reviews before buying it, and it was also for my skin type, mind you I have oily skin! Here are the results
« I definitely recommend this cleanser »
Hello my Sephora Friends! I was skeptical about using this cleanser because I am ole school and have been using soaps and cold creams to cleanse my face. I must say I definitely could feel and see a difference on my first use of this cleanser. The cleanser was not drying or stripping on my oily, still acne prone, aging (yes I said aging) skin. I could immediately tell that myskin was a different clean from when I used my harsh cleaning methods. The cleanser left my skin soft and clean. I can tell a difference in the appearance of my skin for the better on just using the cleanser twice a day (morning and before bedtime) over the last 4 days. I definitely recommend this cleanser for anyone with aging, oily skin. The cleanser is pricey in cost but it does go a long way as one tiny drop or pump goes a long way once lathered up. Because the cleanser works on my skin so well I am interested in using other products from the line that are suited for my skin.
« Comedogenic nightmare in a bottle »
This product is comedogenic. I used it for 10-12 days and developed horrifying bumps all over my cheeks about 5 days in. Highlighter was out of the question. The positive reviews here are largely from people receiving samples or buying the 100-pt review... beware! These folks might not have had enough product to use it long enough to see the comedogenic effects of this nightmare in a bottle. Not worth the risk - skip it.
Yes I love a good oil cleanser and this did not disappoint. It left my skin super clean and all my makeup removed even my waterproof mascara. It did not make my skin feel stripped or tight. Because it foams up I do not feel the need to double cleanse like I would with a traditional oil cleanser.
« Magic for my sensitive and acne prone skin »
I want to apologize in advance for the length but as an avid review-reader I like details. I do not usually write reviews, but I want everybody to experience the magic that is this cleaner. I have suffer from cystic hormonal acne for a very large chunk of my life. Through lots of trial and error, and the hep of my wonderful OBGYN (I have pcos), I have gotten my skin to a point where I am happy with it. I still had small bumps under my skin and the occasional angry whitehead but I thought that was the best i could due given my skins history. Then i met this cleanser. I was using the Fresh Soy cleanser and honestly the only reason I stopped is because of the price point. I found myself in a sephora the other day asking for new recommendations and the angel of an employee brought this product to my attention. At first, I had the same panic most people with acne have when they read oil, but the product is specifically made to help restore the moisture barrier which most of us are lacking due to years of harsh treatments. I started using this product a little over a week ago and usually I would say that is not enough time to get a good idea of a new products effects but let me say i am shocked. All those little bumps went away and my skin looks healthier and more hydrated than it has in years. My family, not even knowing that I’m trying something new, has been commenting on my glow. Its that good. I know what works for me will not work for everyone but I just wanted to get on here to tell people with acne: do not be scared of the oil and give it a shot. I have not tried this product with cystic acne so I cannot speak to its effects on that but it has already completely eradicated the small under the skin bumps and I have yet to get any bad flare ups (which is shocking, my skin is very “vocal” about products it does not like and it is not a fan of change). I will hop on here and update if anything changes but at this point I already love it!! It is so worth the money.
« Not Good, in any respect! »
If I could give this NO stars I would. I have NEVER purchased a product that disappointed me so much. I redeemed 1000 points so I could get 15% off this product (as well as other products). I read all the reviews, before ordering. I was an Ole Hendrickson Clean Truth Foaming Cleanser LOOOVVEERRR. The fact that they discontinued their foam cleanser, puzzles me based on how popular it was and incredibly it worked. So, I tried this SkinFix barrier+”foaming” cleanser. I called the Sephora staff and spoke to them, and read up on all my choices. First, this is NOT a foam, NOR does it turn into a foam. Next, it doesn’t clean. I could use a dime sized foam pile of OleHendricksen would truly CLEAN my face and leave it soft without any tightness. It would remove EVERY EVIDENCE OF mascara, eyeliner, EVERYTHING... without scrubbing. That is NOT the case with SkinFix. This stuff did NOT get my foundation off. I got out of the shower and checked my makeup mirror and could see all the remaining foundation in my pours. What is worse is that I used 3-4 different rounds of wash with SkinFix. RINSING THOROUGHLY, each time. It never gave me the feeling it was removing my makeup... so I just kept trying. I jumped back to the sink and used a skimming of my remaining Ole Hendrickson and everything was perfectly clean. Maybe this SkinFix “cleanser”? Is meant for people who don’t wear makeup... but really what’s the purpose. It’s going back tomorrow and if ANYBODY, can tell me a TRUE foam cleanser, that is so good and balancing, that is even takes off makeup, please LMK! I’m so sad ole Hendricks Abandoned their followers with the foam cleanser and have no idea what to try next. Oh and those of you suspicious of my review, I only wear base, liner and mascara. I apply about a 5 out of 10 amounts of makeup, compared to most Sephora shoppers. Oh, and the SkinFix description says it removes makeup... so don’t be judging my review by saying it isn’t a makeup remover. Duh!
« Skin feels so great! »
Love this! Creamy soft, rinse clean without leaving that tight, dry feeling. I was recovering from chronic hives due to a food allergy and was trying to find a cleanser that didn’t irritate my skin further. This was actually soothing. The hives are gone but I’m sticking with this cleanser.
« bumpy skin »
so i usually stick to one product but i started noticing that once my skin gets used to a cleanser for a couple months it stops working. so i need to change it up sometimes. i dont like to use anything with a fragrance so i saw this one and it got alot of good reviews . i have very oily skin so i like something foaming and hydrating at the same time so i thought this would be perfect . as soon as i started using this cleanser my skin got bumpy so i stopped using it and tried my cerave foaming cleanser for a week and the bumpiness went away. i tried the skinfix once again and little bumps came back. i had to stop using it .
« Returned this cleanser. »
The Sephora employee that helped me spoke REALLY highly about this product (and skinfix in general) so I gave it a try. I only used it once a day, in the mornings, but I started noticing blackhead across my forehead, which I never had issues with before. My hormonal acne on the chin was not much better or worse in the beginning but it got dramatically worse after about 1.5 weeks of usage. I used it for a total of 3 weeks before calling quits. When I returned it, the Sephora employee said there’s a recall on it because a batch was sent out that was not up to standards and mine fell within that batch…but it’s too late. I wouldn’t give it another try even when a new batch comes out.
« Just no... »
I do not get the hype around this cleanser. It is awful and has the strangest smell to it. It is also extremely drying compared to my OG cleanser and started to give me breakouts. I would pass on this one.
« Great for sensitive skin! »
I recieved this product complimentary for testing purposes and I could not be happier! This product has saved my dry yet acne prone skin. After use, my skin feels hydrated but not greasy and I really love the feel of the oil foaming formula. Will definitely keep skinfix and this cleanser as a part of my daily routine.
