« The perfect balanced cleanser »

I don’t usually write reviews but this cleanser was such a good purchase that I had to share!I’ve been looking for a suitable cleanser for over a year after trying multiple brands (Drunk Elephant, La Mer, Kiehls, Youth to the People, etc) and this gave a nice and refreshing feeling without feeling tight or unfinished (You know when you used a cleanser but doesn’t feel completely clean?? Some I’ve tried above felt that way.) This will work well with all types of skin as I change from dry skin to combination in the summer. Some may not love the faint medicinal smell but I personally love the ginseng as it has many anti aging properties.

FINALLY Sephora carries Sulwhasoo! I’ve been waiting years for this to happen. Im 33 with light skin that is dry sensitive and sensitive that burns easily in the sun. This cleanser is my HG and I have been using it for 7 years. It does not irritate or strip my skin at all and it’s very gentle but gets the job done. It does a great job removing non waterproof makeup. However if you wear waterproof makeup, I recommended using the cleansing oil as step 1 then using this cleanser. The cleanser does have an herbal scent so depending on your tolerance of herbal scents you may or may not tolerate it. The entire Sulwhasoo line is my HG for skincare.

Oily/combo skin. I randomly bought this for my husband who wanted a foam cleanser and I always stayed away from foam cleaner out of fear that it would dry out my skin. I absolutely love this product and can feel such a difference - gentle, not stripping, smells nice, so little go a very long way! I’ll use a pea size amount in the shower and can bring the product down my neck and chest area. Smells nice and feels luxurious using it. Found a holy grail cleanser.

« Good lather and value. »

Initially received this ginger scented face wash as a sample and ended up buying the full size. The bottle lasted me 7 months after using a pea sized amount which was PLENTY for a good lather. It definitely felt like my combo face was clean, but I wouldn’t recommend it for normal-dry skin as it was borderline stripping for me. Compared to other brands, the price per ml is a great value. I don’t regret my purchase, but I won’t be buying it again as I would rather explore other products. I feel that the product did well in removing dirt/oil at the end of the day, but didn’t improve my overall skin appearance.

my fave cleanser is fresh Soy facewash but since i use the foreo 3, i just have to use so much product for each use so i opt to use this instead. Its light, fluffy and nondrying after. It feels good and the smell of gingsum herbal scent is relaxing!

I’m sure it’s a great product according to the high reviews but it dried my skin out like nothing I’ve ever tried. I have rosacea and combination skin and it just didn’t work for me.

Ordered this for a trip. I have very sensitive skin. This did great. All makeup easily removed in a single wash. Loved that it has a little plastic bracket, to lock it for transit. Lasted my entire 2 week trip.

Received as sample and was shocked at how my face felt like I’d just had a facial after one use! So excited for the full size to come in the mail. Highly recommend.

Cleans well! Skins doesnt feel tight after rinsing off. Love the healing herbal scent! Its a must-buy cleanser!

« Skin went out of control »

I purchased this along with the serum and oil cleanser. My skin definitely became worse, I started breaking out in places I’ve never broken out before. I was so surprised because I have used the sheet masks by Sulwhasoo in the past and I was in love with them (still am). I hoped I was wrong but as soon as I stopped using this cleanser and the serum my skin stopped breaking out. And I’m not a big fan of the smell, although I didn’t give 2 stars because of that, all of their products smell like ginseng, so its just a personal preference.

This cleanser doesn’t rinse well, and makes me break out. Many of the other reviewers have commented this as well. Hope sephora is not removing less favourable reviews. Its rather expensive for what it is

« Super luxe but lasts forever, worth the price »

I don’t wear a lot of makeup these days, so I can’t speak to makeup removing properties, however this is hands down my favorite cleanser ever. I tried a sample last summer and became obsessed with the scent and texture, but was mildly horrified by the $40 price tag. However, I took the plunge and I am here to report that I’ve had my bottle for over half a year and it could easily last another 6 months (I only use cleanser at night). The formula is super concentrated so you barely need any to get a luxurious lather going, so I probably use <half a pump for every wash. It doesn’t strip my skin or leave it feeling tight and dry like foam cleansers are notorious for doing. The smell reminds me of fresh pine trees and I look forward to using it every day, I can’t believe that a facial cleanser makes me so happy, but here we are.

love this product! I was using Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, and it did a good job, but I always felt like my skin needed more. Being an oily/ combo girl, I was afraid of trying Korean skincare since they tend to be very hydrating (ex: glass skin would be too much for me), but I am so glad I tried it. love love, and will definitely be purchasing again.

i love love love this facewash, ive had adult acne for a few years now and this is the only facewash ive used that ive noticed almost immediate results with. i love how gentle it is and how hydrated my skin feels after washing, would highly recommend giving this a try.

After I used half of it my acne problem is getting better I was surprised. I have her struggling with acne for 4 years, but after 3 months of using it that helps my skin a lot. I used with Sulwhasoo essential water and firming cream.
