Okay so I keep this holy grail in my shower because for obvious reasons of course. So I’ve noticed it’s running out quicker than normal. It turns out my boyfriend has been using it every day and it honestly has helped his black scars on his face almost completely disappear now over a couple of weeks. If you have acne scaring I would HIGHLY recommend giving this a go!!!!!

I have yet to try this cleanser as a mask, but as a cleanser it certainly works well at removing dirt & oil without drying skin. However, it is a bit rough on sensitive skin. Not the formula itself, but the cleansing beads are ragged enough to abrade skin if you are not gentle with it. I love it for travel though. It’s nice to have a quality product, especially for tropical locations that require a good exfoliant for sunscreen, make up, sweat and oil removal at the end of the day!

This cleanser is in a super convinient packaging, and cleans the skin weel. It evens our my skins tone I have some dark pigmentation. however for the price per product it is not good value and whilst i would love to use it everyday or every second day i find myself rationing it out. im on my third tube, and i wiish they would make a bigger stick for a more reasonable price.

This product is a 10/10 recommend. I bought it a few years back in a mini set and absolutely loved it. At that time I wanted to buy the full size but for some reason it was discontinued from the line. IM SO HAPPY ITS FINALLY BACK NOW. This stick exfoliates, lightens scars, purifies blemishes, and even minimizes existing breakouts. It’s great as a face mask or even a quick exfoliation. It’s easy to use and the benefits just keep coming.

I have tried dozens of pore cleansers and exfoliating cleansers in many price ranges; this is by far is the best! Some have said it is a bit messy but if you use it somewhat sparingly and clean up the applicator before putting the lid on, there are no issues. I love how this product is balanced and maintains its consistency throughout the 2 minutes of exfoliating. My face feels incredibly clean and soft afterwards and I do not experience dryness or breakouts afterwards. I use it twice a week.

Just received this in my latest Play! Box and I tried it out for the first time tonight. You definitely feel the small beads as you are scrubbing. My face feels really smooth without feeling dried out. So far, so good.. ill definitely continue using this!

Diatomaceous earth, which is the fossilized remains of tiny, aquatic organisms called diatoms whose skeletons are made of silica, is much too harsh an ingredient to use on facial skin. It will leave microabrasions on your skin, which is very damaging. If you received the sample in your Play box and feel you must use it on your face be EXTREMELY GENTLE lathering it up. That said, I’ve had relative success using it on my dry, cracked, and tougher-skinned heels and feet, In my opinion, that’s all it is usable for.

I’m addicted to this stuff. I’ve used it for about 5 years now and tried a lot of similar products along the way, and none have the same exfoliation abilities as this. It’s not painfully gritty, but just enough to really get dead winter skin off. I dont use it daily, that would dry me out. but as a 2x a week product this stuff is fantastic. I’m very dry. Not oily whatsoever. This is a good balance for my skin. My only gripe is that I feel like I’m always running out. More product for the price would be an improvement.

« Easy to Use, Hydrating »

I am in love with the application of this product! Unlike other face masks/exfoliators, there is no sticky mess left on your fingers/scrubbers/brushes/etc. I also like how this product can be used as either an exfoliator or a face mask. After using as a face mask (I left the product on for about 15 minutes) my skin felt soft and naturally hydrated with no oiliness or dryness. I highly recommend this product! It also worked great after using the Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel!

I got this in my Play box. I thought i wouldnt like this product as it is a physical exfoliator, which i am not a fan of. But by the second time i used this, i was amazed, my skin looks so soft and healthy, It looked glowy.My skin was not stripped off of oil, it was hydrating. I probably wouldn’t buy a full size just because i do not like physical exfoliators, i prefer chemical, more gentle.I also liked that its very convenient, so i pop this in my bag in case i sleep over somewhere A word of advice though, be gentle when applying this because it can get too rough for your skin. Apply this as gently as possible. (Same applies when massaging this into your skin, be gentle.)

I was super surprised how much I liked this out of everything in the Ready, Set, Glow! Skincare Kit. I probably would have never tried it had it not come in that kit. The exfoliants in this is diatomaceous earth which is crazy because I have a giant bag of it in my shed! I have a tortoise and I live in Texas which means by default, I have fire ants in my yard. This stuff is safe to put in my grass to kill the fire ants without harming my tortoise in anyway so he can stomp around like a baby dinosaur in the yard all he wants. I had read that DE is used in a lot of beauty products but I think this is the first product I’ve used that has it and it is amazing! It makes my face feel like BUTTA but it is something I can use every day without ripping up my face. This is in my top 3 in regards to exfoliating and I love love love that it can be used like a mask too. I have been inspired to mix that DE with some body wash I have to make an awesome scrub!

Oily acne prone skin.Tried twice and it makes me breakout very next day.I know if this is happening its not going to be meant for my type of skin.Even though the concept it really cool and travel friendly.

« It smells horrible »

I feel like this did absolutely nothing for me but leave my face smelling horrible. It was a tiny gritty which I expected, but it’s almost buttery when applied to my face directly from the stick.

I have sensitive skin that is very prone to break outs, so finding an exfoliant is always a challenge. I bought this on a whim and I have no regrets. It leaves my skin super soft after using it, and my face has never felt better. I’m hardly ever disappointed in Tarte products, so this one has become one I swear by!
