« Average at Best »
As a longtime Tata Harper fan with sensitive skin, I really wanted to love this cleanser - but with the exception of the mask, this and all the other Superkind products fell flat for me. There is nothing wrong with it per se, but aside from gorgeous packaging, there is nothing particularly special about it either. I find it an average mild cleanser, not harsh nor gentle. I do get a good foam by adding more water, and skin feels clean, not stripped, but also not hydrated either. It’s unscented, so no added fragrance, but yes, the ingredients to have a “natural” scent, though to me it’s not at all bothersome.I tend to dislike when people bring price into the equation when it comes to products, but this is one product that I must say is, to me, simply not worth it. By all means, get it for the pretty bottle, get it to round out your Tata Harper collection, but if you’re looking for a good, gentle cleanser, there are sooo many better options. In short, even if this was a quarter of the price, to me, it would unfortunately still only be average.
« You’re paying for the name…not much else »
Based off the raving reviews, I went ahead on splurged on this cleanser. The most I’ve ever spent on a cleanser in my 27 years of life. And let me tell you…it was underwhelming to say the least. Two stars just for the beautiful packaging alone. But the actual cleanser stripped my sensitive, perioral dermatitis-prone skin of all my natural oils, and left my face feeling tight/dry. There are so many better cleansers out there for a fraction of this price. I’ll stick to my trusty SkinFix foaming oil cleanser, which is much more effective for my skin type.
« Not worth the pesos »
I love a good sensitive skin product, especially a cleanser. In addition to sensitive skin I have some rosacea. Have used this product a few times and I am not impressed. I’ve found this product to be very drying and with an $86 price tag, it should be an amazing product. Can’t recommend this product, I’ll stick with my Korres.
« Gentle Cleanse for Super Sensitive Skin »
I saw this on the Tata Harper website and was checking Sephora daily to see when they’d finally get it in, and ordered it first chance. I don’t love all of the Tata Harper products, but I do love all of the cleansers so far, and this is no exception. I love that it foams up nicely, can be used around the eyes, and does a gentle, yet effective clean. It also rinses really easily without leaving any weird sticky or oily residue that a lot of sensitive skin cleansers seem to leave behind. My super sensitive skin isn’t stripped dry or red and angry with this (believe me when I say I have tried almost every so-called sensitive skin cleanser out there!). It also leaves the perfect canvas to do a double-cleanse followed with the Regenerating Cleanser (which I only use once or twice per week after a regular cleanse).
I have redness prone combination skin that leans towards oily. I use this cleanser just in the morning as it does a nice job of balancing and calming my skin. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin but my skin is definitely reactive and turns red for tons of reasons (too hot, too cold, spicy food, embarrassment, etc) and this cleanser is the perfect way to start my day. Most cleansers leave my skin looking red after and it takes a while to calm down but this leaves my face looking calm and even. My t-zone also gets much less oily throughout the day. If you don’t have reactive skin I don’t think this would be worth the money but if you do have reactive skin it is worth every penny!
« Very gentle cleanser »
I have dry, sensitive skin and started using this Superkind Softening cleanser 2 weeks ago and I love it! It’s fragrance free, and the formula is very creamy and luxurious. The cleanser is very gentle but effective, it removes my makeup without stripping my skin or drying it out. I recommend this cleanser to anyone with sensitive skin.
This is a very good product to wash your face if you have sensitive and dry skin during winter. It properly cleans your skin and hydrates it. This is my second bottle.
I did my absolute best to love this cleanser, but I legitimately can’t find a good thing to say about it. It wasn’t softening, and also generally unpleasant to use. It feels a bit like washing your face with cheap liquid soap. I can’t even say that it wasn’t irritating, really, because my skin did feel stripped and, again, like it was being washed with the world’s most basic hand soap. What I can say is that it definitely takes the oil/balm off your face after a double cleanse, and I’m continuing to use it up for that purpose.
« best cleanser I own »
Amazing face wash. Great for all skin types. Worth the price tag. Feel like I am using a luxury facial produce every time I wash my face. Removes makeup and debris well. Great consistency, and beautiful and quality packaging.
This is my first time using Tata Harper facial cleanser, it has creamy texture and not scented, the smell is a little bit strong but is acceptable. This cleanser is somehow difficult to foam, much harder than I thought, maybe I haven’t found a good way to apply it. After cleaning, I felt it cleaned very well and not dried at all, also my skin was soft and comforting. Normally I’m not particularly looking for scented-free cleanser, but I will definitely recommend this one if your skin is sensitive to scents. The overall experience is good as expected.
One of the best cleansers I’ve used! It has very small exfoliating particles that are gentle enough for the cleanser to be used everyday, and it evens out my skin tone and makes my skin more radiant. Doesn’t dry out my skin at all. It also does a great job at removing any traces of makeup or sunscreen. Very beautiful packaging as well!
« Excellent »
This is perfect for my sensitive skin because it has no fragrance.this cleanser cleanses very well without stripping your skin .my face feels hydrated after .overall a very good product. i look forward to using it every night
« LOVE it. »
Aw man, I didn’t want to like this cleanser because of how expensive it is, but it’s SO GOOD. The texture is soft on my face without the pulling or tugging associated with some cleansers, but it also actually feels like it’s cleaning at the same time. This product is fragrance free but it does have a soft soap or glycerine scent, which is likely the natural scent of the product. When I’m done using it, my face is soft, clean, and smooth. I love it so much, and the packaging is so luxe. One SORTA con but not really IMO: The glass may not be good if you have kids or cats who will knock it over and potentially shatter it in your bathroom.
« Gentle and Effective »
Love this cleanser. This is my first Tata Harper product, I’ve generally stayed away because of the price and also never knew which product to splurge on. I have sensitive, red prone skin with very little acne. I absolutely love this cleanser. It is gentle but clears makeup and dirt effectively and leaves me feeling “squeaky clean” (i find some cleansers dont do this). I use this and Caudalie foaming cleanser interchangeably - I find them very similar but this bottle is just so luxurious and I think it may reduce my redness a bit better.
« Good! »
This cleanser is so great! It removes perfectly the make up and makes the skin more hydrated. It’s fragrance-free, I personally , like when there is a bit of aroma, so from this point of you, not my type. BUT, I really love the effect and I will continue trying it! Also worth mentioning the package and the bottle - so luxury. It’s pleasure just to hold it.
