« Don't purchase if you have sensitive skin! »

This product unfortunately caused me to break out horribly; my face was cherry red and burning for about 20 minutes after putting this product on my face. My face is still burning slightly and its very red. It did cleanse my face, but having a natural burning blush on my face after using this cleanser is not my ideal situation. So unfortunately, I’m just going to have to tell people to stay away from this product if you have sensitive skin. I love the ordinary, its just that this product didn’t work out at all for me.

I was a using a cleansing that was working well on my skin, but it stopped cleaning my pores well. Once I tried The Ordinary cleanser, it completely cleaned my pores, especially on the nose. I also see that it helps to minimize my pores and improve skin texture. I have very dry skin and the cleanser didn’t dry my skin. At first, it has a gel consistency and once you mix it with water, it foams. One thing I didn’t like was the scent.Overall, I will still add it to my skincare routine for now because it helps to unclog my pores.

love The Ordinary, so I already had high expectations testing this facial cleanser. And this products like others did not disappoint! 🧼 I like the ingredients and the fact that it’s made as a gentle foaming cleanser. Since some cleansers are a little too harsh and make my face red, this one did the exact opposite. It made my skin soft and did not remove my natural oils. Also my face wasn’t red after using it, which is a huge plus. 🧼 If you have sensitive and prone to redness type skin, I definitely recommend The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser!

I have never used this brand before so I wasn’t 100% at first.However after using it I loved it it wasn’t too foamy and got all my makeup off very easy.

I have been using this face wash 1 to 2 times daily for about 3 weeks now and my skin is actually clean after using! My toner pad is not full of makeup residue left behind, which really impressed me since I’m use to having makeup residue on my face even after washing it. My skin feels so soft, and smooth. My acne has decreased and my skin texture is changing for the better!

« Gentle but powerful! »

You only need a tiny squeeze of product to thoroughly clean your face. It lathers nicely and is gentle enough for daily use! It also melts my makeup off nicely but I would still recommend a double cleanse. Overall, I’m impressed by the formula. I love this foaming cleanser! Thank you influencer for sending this product. It’s the only product I found that makes my skin so soft and doesn’t dry it out like most facial treatments. I highly recommend this one!

Thank you Influenster for sending me this in exchange for my honest opinion.When I first squeezed out the product, it’s not a thick gel texture. It’s more of a watery gel texture. Also, it smells very clean. I think it’s supposed to be fragrance free, but it has a clean smell to it. I put it on my face without water first. Then, I add water to emulsify it. It lathers very well and it doesn’t leave my skin stripped. I tried using this as the 2nd cleanse in my double cleanse and it works. Not sure if I’ll use it again to remove makeup, but maybe in the morning. I typically don’t wash my face in the morning because of the skincare I put on the night before. However, it’s a nice simple cleanser for the morning.

Overall this product lathers nicely its a nice addition to my shower routine. Doesn’t leave my face feeling dry. I would buy this product in a heartbeat. I wish it removed more of my makeup but other than that love this cleanser

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and it makes my skin feel extremely clean and doesn’t irritate it at all. This cleanser is gental on the skin but make sure to follow with sunscreen after.

This is such a gentle cleanser that cleans the skin thoroughly without stripping your face and making it feel tight! It works perfectly for all skin types and is also suitable for sensitive skin! This has more of a liquid gel-like formula and although it is fragrance free, it has a slight clean scent, which is pleasant. I wouldn’t use this to remove makeup; however, I think it is the perfect daily cleanser! It made my skin feel soft, smooth, and it evened my skin tone. This is gentle. It’s Non-stripping yet wonderfully foamy! Great to pair with TO squalane cleanser as a double cleanse. My skin feels so soft afterwards & ready for the rest of my routine.

This was super foamy which was nice. It did dry out my skin, I gave it several tries but it was just too harsh to use on my skin. It did get all the makeup off my face!

« Warning for contact dermatitis and sensitive skin! »

Alkyl glucosides used and still technically are considered mild and gentle BUT several years ago were found to actually be allergens that can cause allergic dermatitis reactions. Literally won allergen of the year in 2017. You can google the studies. While a lot of people won’t have reactions many don’t realise that the reason they are breaking out in bumps, redness, little white heads all over is from a reaction to glucosides in products. They are in so many amazing products from all brands and all types of products because it’s still considered genérele and mild but just know that if you are prone to contact dermatitis, have a compromised skin barrier, or sensitive skin in general you should try your best to shy away from glucosides. The most commonly used being decyl glucoside. If you’re one of many that have used Glow recipe and loved the result but not the reaction of breakout you got. Check the list. It’s in the eye cream etc. you might have less of a reaction with rinse offs such as cleansers BUT studies show that you should refrain from even using rinse offs because of worsening future reactions. Hoping this helps people who have had issues with skincare and can’t seem to figure out what the ingredient is. Glucosides come up in search as being safe for sensitive skin until you keep researching. A lot of sunscreens use it as well and it’s not always the uva/uvb ingredient irritating your skin.
