Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser

This is not bad. This is not fabulous. It does not remove all make up and I have to do a double cleanse. For reference, I only wear tinted moisturizer, lip gloss, and mascara. No eye shadow, no blush, no other foundation. It feels ok on the skin. It is just meh. I have used the product for almost two months now. I don’t write reviews until I have used a product long enough to truly evaluate its effectiveness. I think you could find a cheaper micellar cleanser.

I love this! My skin is sensitive at times and this doesn’t seem to brother it at all. It doesn’t dry it out and it’s good for taking off makeup too. I feel face wash is so particular to the user and this is definitely the one for me!!

I actually paid for this product ( ordered off Outset website before it was avail at Sephora) I give it 5/5 because: it is gentle and does not cause my sensitive mature skin to break out or get red. Also the micellar component does actually remove most of my makeup which I appreciate. ( but I have not tried on waterproof mascara) There is no fragrance. It is a clear jelly like texture. A light foam/lather develops and rinses away clean. Price is not too bad IMO. Since it actually works and does not break the bank, I will most likely repurchase when I run out. If you do not have sensitive or reactive skin you can prob find a drug store or less expensive cleanser that works just as well for you though.

You don’t know how much I have been looking for a gentle cleanser that doesn’t dry up your skin. Finding good ones and seeing what people like, I came across this beauty. This product is the best, well for me. Knowing that Mrs. Scarlett have been developing this product for 7 years is amazing. You can tell she put the effort in perfecting this and for only $32!? That’s a steal! I highly recommend it.

« Not for dry skin »

I have dry skin and had high hopes for this cleanser, but sadly it fell short. It does a decent job at removing makeup, but it also strips my skin and leaves it really dry and tight. Regular, drugstore micellar water performs better for me. For the price, it’s about on par with a drugstore cleanser.

I love this entire line. It is so gentle on my sensitive skin and yet I can tell it has done it’s job without stripping my natural barriers.

This product is fine but it’s just like any other gel cleanser in my opinion. I don’t think it’s worth paying $32 for. The scent is off-putting and I don’t find it particularly nourishing or hydrating — just a regular cleanser. Was hoping for something a little more special. gifted by the outset

I have wacky skin. I’m 42 and my strawberries and cream skin is sensitive, acne-prone, combination (oily T zone, dry cheeks). I have yet to find a cleanser that doesn’t dry out the cheeks area, but this cleanser does wonders for the rest of my face.

Does a good job at cleansing but left my skin feeling tight and increased my redness. Wanted to love it but unfortunately hated it :(. My face felt extra dry….I have dry, sensitive skin with redness.

I have really been enjoying this cleanser. It’s been super effective as my daily one and does a fabulous job removing makeup. It only takes a little to work up a lather that leaves your skin feeling clean but not stripped. It has virtually no smell and soothes the skin while cleansing. I’m a fan. Gifted by The Outset

The cleanser feels so lovely on my skin! It is kind of a thick but very spreadable formula and the consistency makes my skin feel so soft! There is no weird residue after, and I overall really enjoy it!*Gifted by the outset

I like this cleanser - it’s light, not scented or irritating to my dry skin. It’s an ok value for a decent sized container and while it doesn’t foam too much it also doesn’t strip my skin. Not strong enough for eye makeup- it’s a solid AM cleanser. Gifted by the outset

I’ve been searching for a gentle non-drying cleanser that is able to remove makeup for a couple of years. I’m always double cleansing at night with the same cleanser (aka wash my face twice) and even the gentlest cleansers would dry out my skin after the second wash. The cleansing balms would leave my skin with a weird feeling of being oily/not clean. I’ve been using Augustinus Bader for a while - it has been the best I could find for my skin + double cleansing, although also a bit drying and ridiculously expensive. Decided to try this Micellar cleanser on a whim and oh boy it did not disappoint! It leaves my skin very soft and never dry, washes off makeup beautifully and never irritates the skin. Also much cheaper than Bader (and even less drying). It’s even cheaper if you buy refills from the official store. The only downside personally for me (but might be a preference for someone else) is that the bottle is plastic, not glass (I prefer glass for a number of reasons). I think I found my ideal cleanser and will be purchasing in the future.

I truly love this cleanser!!! I suffer from eczema and this is gentle enough for it but effective to clean my skin without drying it out. It’s also great that there’s no fragrance and clean. I will definitely repurchase this

nothing special, it’s good for the morning or after taking off makeup, it’s very good for gentle skin! i think u can find something similar for that though for cheaper like the vanicream gentle cleanser. it’s not a bad cleanser, just wouldn’t buy again.
