SHIKULIME Gel-to-Oil Cleanser

The Waso shikulime gel to oil cleanser was good not but great as a makeup remover when it came to removing tough eye makeup. This does hav safflower and grape seed oil which does dissolve makeup and sebum while providing moisture. Shikuwasa, supports skin’s moisture barrier to promote a healthy look. The texture is really nice, there’s barely a scent. It doesn’t foam up once water is mixed with it. But it does remove face makeup.

I made the mistake of trying this product before reading the instructions, don’t make my mistake. If you follow the instruction this cleanser works really really well. It feel SO soft on your skin and has a very minimal scent. I like that you appt to dry-ish skin I felt it made a worlds difference.

I really like this cleanser! I have fairly sensitive skin and rosacea, and this cleanser cleans my face and removes my makeup and sunscreen without stripping my skin or leaving my face inflamed or irritated. It left my skin clean, hydrated, and smooth after using it! Would recommend!

Great cleanser! No harsh fragrance, definitely refreshing. It cleans off all oil on my skin and leaves my skin very soft. I have very sensitive skin and I don’t get irritated at all. I like how liquidity silky the texture is.

Love love loved this gel to oil cleanser! I cleansed with my normal cleanser after using this and my skin felt amazing. I have sensitive skin and have been using this for about two weeks now and no new or unusual breakouts.

I use this to clean the mineral sunscreen off of my after a long day in the sun and it does a really good job. I use it to double cleanse and I use a normal cleanser afterwards.

This has became my go to cleanser! It cleanses my face without my skin feeling dry. This also doesn’t break me out. I think it’s nice how it’s gel-to-oil.

This worked amazing on my skin. Its left my skin feeling clean and soft. I love it! I had some acne on my face and it helped clear it up.

« Please research Oil cleansers!! »

To every single person saying they have to use a second cleanser because their face doesn’t feel clean or it feels oily, an oil cleanser is meant to be used first in a double cleanse! You use the oil cleanser first to breakdown makeup and or sunscreen then follow up with a water based cleanser. Oil cleansers should be applied on dry skin then after massaging it into your skin add water to emulsify then rinse. Oil cleansers are not meant to be used as just a face wash.

As a cleanser it is not strong enough for me but it works amazing as a makeup / pre cleanse for me I love it ! Doesn’t dry out my skin !

The Shiseido Waso Shikulime Gel-to-Oil Cleanser is an innovative cleanser! I love using oil based cleansers before my water based cleansers to remove any SPF, makeup (including waterproof makeup), dirt, oil, etc. from the day and I liked how well this one gently cleansed my skin! I found it very interesting how it turns from a gel to an oil and, once I added in water, how it turned into a milky consistency that was easy to rinse off. I also liked the scent and how minimal it is. The packaging is more eco friendly with the outer cap being made of 30% upcycled rice husk and the tube being made of 10% sugarcane-derived polyethylene. It contains shikuwasa (Japanese lime from Okinawa), which supports skin’s moisture barrier to promote a heathy look. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free. Overall, it’s a wonderful cleanser that I would repurchase!

Up until now I had not tried a gel to oil cleanser because when you use the word oil and cleanser together it kind of raises your eyebrow especially when you have combo skin like myself, but my view has definitely changed since using this product. I really like the packaging of shiseido’s products, and so far all of the products I have tried look, smell, and best of all feel clean. The cleanser is probably my favorite because I don’t have to use a mask after this for me to get all of the impurities out of my skin. I love the texture of the product and now it’s one of my favorite cleansers. I would definitely recommend to someone who is looking for vegan friendly, animal cruelty and non-harsh chemicals cleansing facial product and I feel that it would work with all skin types.

This gel to oil cleanser has become irreplaceable for me. I use it as the first step in my double cleanse when I’m wearing a full face of makeup, or as a stand alone cleanser on no-makeup days. It is the most hydrating and plumping cleanser I’ve ever tried. My skin is noticeably more smooth and even. This is also great to use just before dermaplaning. I have a normal to dry skin type and this works great for keeping my skin hydrated. You have to use a fair amount (grape-size) to get a good lather, so I imagine I will probably run through this really quickly. I will definitely be repurchasing because it is so unique and effective. I’ve been using this for about a month and have the softest skin I’ve ever had in my life. If you’re looking for a good everyday cleanser this is it!
